This Privacy Policy explains how Pak Urdu AI ("we", "us", "our"), run by Waseem Abbas Alvi in Pakistan, collects, uses and protects information when you use the website www.pakurduai.com (including its blog and community pages) and the Pak Urdu AI Android app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign up or sign in (for example with Google), we receive your name, email address and profile photo.
• Content you post: posts, comments, photos and videos you share in the community. Uploaded photos and videos are stored in cloud storage (Vercel Blob) so that other members can see them. Anything you post in the community is visible to other users.
• Payment information: if you buy a paid course or eBook, payment is handled by the payment provider (such as JazzCash, SadaPay or a bank). We do not store your card details.
• Usage and device data: pages and features you use, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar technical data, used to keep the Service working and improve it.
• Push notification token: if you allow notifications, a device token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can notify you about new posts.
• Messages you send us: if you email us, we keep the message so we can reply.

2. How we use information

• To provide accounts, the community feed, courses and the eBook library.
• To send notifications you have allowed (for example, a new-post notification). You can turn these off at any time in your phone's Settings or browser settings.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and spam, and enforce our Terms.
• To understand which content is useful and improve it.
• To show advertising that helps keep our content free (see section 4).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as language), keep you signed in, measure usage and serve and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

4. Advertising: Google AdSense, AdMob and third-party vendors

• Our website may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or www.youronlinechoices.eu.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Where required by law (for example for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland), we ask for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads are shown.
• Our Android app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use the device's advertising ID and similar data to serve and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device). The app also offers an "Ad privacy & consent" option where applicable.

5. Third-party services we use

Google (Sign-In, AdSense, AdMob, Firebase Cloud Messaging), Vercel (hosting and file storage) and, where you choose it, Facebook Login. These services process data under their own privacy policies. External links (YouTube videos, tools mentioned in articles) lead to sites with their own policies.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers above to run the Service, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and the data linked to it by emailing pakurduai@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online system is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
